Subject: Linux In Schools

Message: I would like to draw the attention of (and ask for some help
from) the various LUGs in the UK to The Cutter Project. Cutter Project
Ltd was formed specifically to provide support to schools running a
preconfigured Linux desktop as outlined at
http://www.cutterproject.co.uk/ which we believes meets almost all the
needs of schools, saves significant sums of money and actually has a
proper working case study. Any help we can get in the form of inbound
links to the website or assistance in reaching schools and LEAs that
need a solution like this will be very much appreciated. We plan to have
local distribution of this software, which some individuals in the LUGs
may be able to help with, but nonetheless we are also commercial because
the feedback we've received is that most schools  WANT commercial
support, however good best-efforts community support might be. I could
write much more but will defer that till later.
