[Lancaster] [OTish] Talk on free software and swapshop

hello all,

Just to let people know that on Thursday evening there will be a session 
on 'online gift economies' as part of the 'Cutting Loose' series of 
talks on alternatives to the mainstream economy. I will be talking about 
free / open source software from an economic perspective, and Pascal 
Desmond will be talking about the Lancaster swapshop mailing list, which 
is for people who have stuff they are willing to barter or give away to 
other people on the list. The session will start at 7.30 at the Friends' 
Meeting House, and go on until 9.30, with plenty of time for questions 
and free discussion.
