Sorry to hear that, Dave. So far, I managed to avoid all bugs other than the 
occasional one of the software variety. This might not last as me and my dog 
visit a couple of care homes (for Pets As Therapy) where most people seem to 
be infected. One can but hope.

Not much to report from here, except that I've treated myself to a Garmin 
eTrex Vista HCx GPS device and software maps to go with it. Unfortunately, 
this does mean that I have to use MS Windows (spits into corner), and no they 
won't work under 'wine'.  ;-(

Just noticed that there is only 1 day to go before SUSE v11.1 is released. 
assuming that this is considerably better than the development version that I 
played with, I shall give it a try. Am presently running 64 bit SUSE v11.0.
