Max,
I will have a box going spare soon. I'm expecting delivery of a new one
in a week or so (with a Core 2 Quad processor!), so I will be shuffling
things around a bit.
Would a 500MHz AMD K6II with 384MB of RAM do? The graphics card is by
NVidia and has 4 x 512 = 2MB of RAM. There is a PCI sound card, but
unless that is needed, I would like to keep it. Likewise with a PCI USB
card.
The PCI network card is an old 10 Mb/s item, so you would probably need
to find a faster one.
Up until now I've used this as a test box, so it's fitted with a hard
drive caddy. I would replace this with an on board hard drive. How big a
hard drive do you need?
Presently, a CD/DVD combo drive is fitted, but I would prefer to swap
this for a simple CD drive.
