Yes myth TV turns the PC into a multimedia station you can download a 
full ubuntu distro that will install and configure the whole setup for you
You get a front end were you can watch record programs - play movies - 
play games - view photos even check the weather - im pretty certain it 
streams media etc - its the open source answer to apples front row or 
microsofts media centre

It has a lot of plugins and other stuff you can do with it that i will 
explore some time.. :-)
