[Lancaster] Hard Drive partition table guesser

Hi all,

Further to tonight's discussions there is a program called gpart that is 
installable on an ubuntu system that will guess the partition table, 
once that's done you can use gpart -W to write the found table e.g.

gpart /dev/sdX
gpart -W /dev/sdX /dev/sdX

It does guess though and may come out with some implausible answers. All 
is explained in the man pages.
