[Lancaster] Hey

Hey,
I'm Andy (cant remember what username I signed up with) I keep meaning to make it to the meetings at the gregson since I only live in town but keep forgetting, I am very interested to come along and find out what goes on.
I work in MS SQL most the time but run a couple of ubuntu box's at home and having a play around with rasbmc and a ubuntu server box which is a bit frustrating at the moment.
I'll have to make it along to a meeting soon.
Out of curiosity what kinda games are on the steam on linux?

Hi darren sounds good, ive added you as a admin to setup the google plugin, ive already installed it so its ready to go
im still trying to get the jetpack authorised so no contact for as yet
if anybody has any additions or extras pages wanting adding to the new site let us know we can fix this!
if anybosy is interested in writing to the blog let us know we can add a account to do this
i think it was expensive at the gregson for the room so we never bothered :(
Last note! also can all the silent members say hello so we kind of know how members the lug has currently !!!
im going to install steam this weekend on my ubuntu box and give it a whirl looking forward to it...

I think having the main home page static as it is, but allowing people to blog about relevant stuff would be cool. Have you tried any of the google+ plugins yet? Theres some good ones out there to link back to the G+ LUG page, and also for each member to have the author tags automatically put in and linked back.

HELLO!
Yes, I'm still alive. Unfortunately missed the last few meetings, due to
various circumstances. Usually this was in relation to a clash with a
previously arranged event, or else just poor organisation on my part.
No, not tried Steam. Recently started playing Minecraft which being Java
based, works like a charm on Linux (and probably Windows and Apple Mac
too). Dangerously addictive. I wouldn't recommend it. Also, it costs . . .
MONEY!!! ARRGHHH!! Anyway, I really can't handle any more addictive games.
Minecraft is enough - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u9emjalsOsE&sns=tw
So, yes, that's me - HELLO. I'm alive! Hopefully there's one more meeting
before Christmas. I'll try to be there.
regards,
jonathan
