Thanks for your feedback, though it seems a little contradictory.  If
the majority of Lincs LUG members are in Lincoln then why does that
make a Lincoln LUG unnecessary?  Surely, it makes more sense to set up
a regular Lincoln LUG that local Lincs LUG members can attend.

The idea behind setting up a Lincoln LUG was to hold regular, face to
face meetings and to have a constant venue based in Lincoln.  One of
the problems identified by existing members of the Lincs LUG is that
Lincolnshire is a big county and in the past, discussions as to where
to hold a meeting have over-shadowed actually ever getting a meeting
organised.  Hopefully, the Lincoln LUG will avoid these problems as
regular meetings will be held in Lincoln.  The Lincoln LUG should be
seen as complimentary to Lincs LUG, and its membership is open to all.
