[Lincoln LUG] September LUG meeting - Weds 19/09/12 at 7pm

Ahoy, Ahoy

This month our LUG is one year old. To help us celebrate, I shall be
bringing cake! :)

We shall meet on Wednesday 19th September 2012, at Lincoln Bowl,
Washingborough Road, Lincoln, LN4 1EF, starting at 7pm, and we'll be in the
big party room (on the left-hand side once through the main entrance); if
you can't find us or arrive super early and no-one else is there, ask at
reception and they will point you in the right direction.

There is no scheduled talk this month (so far?), however I am going to
propose that we have a regular 8.30 to 9.30 pm slot for lightning talks.

Lightning talks can be on any subject but will be restricted to 10 minutes
presentation time per subject with an additional 5 mins for audience
questions, giving us scope to have 4 an hour and hopefully there will be
something for everyone. What do you think - good idea or not?

Hope to see some of you at the meeting, to share a slice of cake and help
blow out the candle.
