[Lincoln LUG] Overview of August LUG meeting

Hi everyone

After a well earned month's break, the LUG met again in August and it was
great to catch up with every one.  Dave turned up sporting some epic
bruising and stitches following his overactive banner-waving in Hull the
previous weekend, and regaled us with the story of how he got his injuries.

There was a definite theme of "new jobs" at this month's meeting, with a
few of our members securing a change of employment since we had last seen
them. Nice to know that the economy and employment is picking up; I may
have to go and polish my CV and take a punt on a career change!

Just for info, there is a new hacksapce opened up in Lincoln and they meet
every Tuesday at 7pm at the old arcade on Norman Street (next to Revival
Cafe on Sincil Street).  You can find more info about them at

Our next LUG meeting will be on Wednesday 18th September 2013 at Lincoln
Bowl, LN4 1EF starting at 7pm.
