[Lincoln LUG] disk size

Hi Andrew,

Why do you want to delete partitions? Is there a partition that
immediately follows the root filesystem partition? I presume you're not
attempting to delete the partition containing the root filesystem - what
is the partition table output from fdisk?

I've never tried to delete partitions that are mounted, but if you need
to delete a (non-root) partition, can you unmount it first? (or in the
case of swap, use swapoff)?

Graham.
