Everyone I know is probably getting tired of me saying this, but DSL
comes to my village in just over 18 days...

...or more accurately 433.3 hours...

...or yet more accurately 25995 minutes...

...or taking the accuracy to a slightly more ridiculous level, 1559700
seconds from now.

(Its aboot 1106784000 in unix time.)

Needless to say, I'm rather desperate for bandwidth, especially
considering that I've been living with four Debian Sid & Sarge DVDs
which don't work, and only 4kB/s of bandwidth between me and the
nearest apt mirror. :'(

I'm getting serious baud withdrawal, here...

In other news, I now have Debian on my new (ish) laptop that I got
from Aldi before Xmas, (ie before it went down in price by £200).

Didn't we plan to have another meeting sometime this month?
