[Lincs] laptop os

i dont use anything particularly unusual, so i would imagin its mostly
in the repositories... and besides, i feel somewhat cheated having a
64 bit processor, chosing an os that has the greatest ability to
exploit it, and then sticking with the 32 bit version...  i may as
well have... dare i say it... micro... no no i cant say it
