Thanks, Ian - format of the evening is something we have not yet tied down.
We probably want to make it a mix of short presentations about the LUG,
about issues around GNU/Linux and free/libre and open software, but also
provide some 'hands on' experiecne with different distros.

I am happy to do some general talk - although there may be others who are
more experienced with Linux who may be better placed to do this. I can also
bring a couple of laptops with different distros etc., and we can have some
live distros.

BTW - it seems we also will have the meeting in conjunction with the BCS
Open Source Specialist Group.
