I should start by saying I'm not in the UK, from the UK or have much to
do with the UK. But I do have some experience with Aaron - while I am
prive to the intimate details of his case other than whats been
published I suspect he is guilty. Aaron attempted to DoS one of my
company's website's because we were hosting a host he 'disapproved'
of. He wasn't successful and the DoS only spanned a weekend so there
were no real casulties. I can of course only speculate it was Aaron
due to IRC logs I have seen of him boosting.

The trojan defense would seem to a legimate legal path considering the
proliferation of spam capable trojans and the life, however in Aaron's
case the specialist witness did tell the court that no traces were
found of any well known trojan. Surely some form of DoS tools, howtos
or whartever should have been on his computer - did any of the reports
mention whether this was brought up ?
