We have a vacancy for a Linux programmer with experience of real-time and
embedded programming to work on supporting our data acquisition hardware
with device and driver support. A hardware or engineering background would
be an advantage.

Programming mostly in C, an understanding of interfacing to hardware,
appreciation of device support programming including interrupts, knowledge
of the VxWorks real time development environment and additionally experience
of data acquisition and control systems is required. Devices such as ADCs,
DAC,s RS232, RS485, Motor Controllers and pulse counters are typical.

The successful candidate will have good LINUX / UNIX skills, be
self-motivated, a good communicator and resourceful in solving problems.

The chosen candidate will be appropriately rewarded for this important and
