As part of a team, you will be responsible for the installation,
configuration, management, support, and operation of the University’s data
network and the services and devices that run on it, including its external
links, undertaking the wide variety of work that is associated with this.
You will have at least 2 years’ networking work experience and a good
standard of education (degree, HNC, CCENT, CompTIA Network or equivalent).
You will be a quick learner of new skills, able to work on own initiative
and good at problem resolution. The ability to communicate fluently, both
verbally and as written work, is essential. You will be required to work
closely with other members of the team and be guided by more senior members.
