Hi,

Betfair is currently growing its operational support and product
delivery teams and consequently there are a number of vacancies in our
Hammersmith (West London) office.

We are hiring for four distinct roles and there are multiple engineer
positions available:

* Operations Engineer: keeping Betfair products and internal systems
up and running, proactive fault resolution
* Product Delivery Engineer: liaison with Development teams on
delivery of new products and product upgrades through to
Production/Live that meet operational requirements
* Operations Team Lead: technical leadership, and line management of
Operations Engineers
* Product Delivery Team Lead: technical leadership, and line
management of Product Delivery Engineers

Betfair's infrastructure comprises approximately one thousand servers,
predominantly running Linux, and over 120 bespoke applications in five
data centres worldwide.

Salaries are up to £60k for the engineers, and up to £70k for team
leads and all include an on-call component, for which there are
additional earnings. The package includes a performance-related cash
bonus, medical insurance, contributory pension, and optional share
saving scheme.

If you'd like more details of the roles or would like to apply, please
email me either at ollie at olliecook.net or oliver.cook at betfair.com.

Finally, for those unfamiliar with Betfair
(http://corporate.betfair.com/), we're an online betting and gaming
provider, so please be sure you'd be comfortable working in the
e-gaming sector if you apply.

Regards,

Ollie
Technology Services Manager, Betfair

STRICTLY NO AGENCIES PLEASE
