My client, a global Oil and Gas Services Provider, has an opening for an experienced Systems Analyst with an Oil and Gas/Geoscience background. You will have experience providing IT services in this sector - Installing, configuring and supporting geoscience systems and applications. 

 

You will be responsible for maintaining the server environments, managing the storage infrastructure, data backup and group administration. You will also be responsible for the Oil and Gas application administration, installation and management. 

 

Technical Background (coupled with solid exposure to the Oil and Gas Sector)

 

*	UNIX 
*	Linux RedHat 
*	Oracle 
*	Virtualisation VMWare 
*	Citrix 
*	EMC (legato) 
*	Windows Servers

 

*	Geoscience packages such as Landmark, Kingdom, Petrel & Eclipse
