I'm on the hunt for an 'RT wizard' with both good development
experience (PERL, MySQL or Oracle) and systems administration
experience (LAMP-esque) to join the Service Management team at
Betfair. RT (Request Tracker) is used for both Betfair's technical and
business operations, and is as critical a system as our
customer-facing products.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance and
support, upgrades and development of the system to meet the evolving
needs of the business units who rely on it. The role is based in
Betfair's London HQ in Hammersmith, right on the banks of the River
Thames. The salary on offer is up to 55kGBP for an exceptional
candidate, with a competitive package (performance-related cash bonus,
share saving scheme, medical insurance, contributory pension).
