Role Description

Ticketmaster Entertainment, part of Live Nation Entertainment is the largest live entertainment company in the world, consisting of five businesses: concert promotion and venue operations, sponsorship, ticketing solutions, e-commerce and artist management. Live Nation seeks to innovate and enhance the live entertainment experience for artists and fans: before, during and after the show.

 

Ticketmaster supports the ticket inventory platforms and websites across the Live Nation International group. We support complex, high availability, high volume transactions sites.  


This is both a strategic and technical hands on role. You will work as a member of the Technical Operations team to help Ticketmaster and other business units within Live Nation Entertainment meet and exceed our technical requirements for compliancy. You will be performing regular internal and external scans against infrastructure and applications, as such you will be required to understand the nature of potential threats and engage with Development, Systems and Application teams to resolve any potential issues. You should have strong Networking, Linux and/or Windows skills with a background in Development or Systems Engineering. You will also be required to review existing and new technology, work as part of the Systems team to implement it.

 

Responsibilities 

·         Perform internal and external scans using third party and open source tools, classifying and prioritising the results.

·         Track and manage outstanding issues with development groups and operation teams.

·         Help to define and implement security solutions and best practises for Systems and Engineering groups.

·         Work with QA and Engineering on automating testing of vulnerabilities

·         Occasional overseas travel with the EU and US.

·         Take ownership for technology security orientated projects

·         Work as part of the Systems team participating in the improvements and support of our existing platforms. 

·         Managing relationships with service providers and Third Party auditors and suppliers.

 

Requirements 

Skills / Knowledge / Experience 

·         Penetration Testing and Ethical Hacking

·         3 to 5 years experience in information technology or security

·         Excellent skills in Linux and/or Windows in a demanding environment. 

·         Strong understanding of Networking and IP protocols

·         Strong communication skills, written and oral

·         Experience of managing and implementing WAF, IDS and/or IPS systems

·         Experience of high volume and HA infrastructure using any of the following technologies

o    Citrix, F5 load balancers

o    Apache with PHP/Perl

o    JBOSS/Tomcat

o    IIS with ASP and C # .NET

·         Experience with standards and practices for PCI-DSS. ISO27001 or ITIL may also be of use.

·         Experience of forensic investigations and necessary tools.

·         CISA, CISM, GSEC, GCIA or GCFA would be desirable.
