Open Source / Python Developer - Oxford - £30-40k + benefits

Successful and Established, software house is looking for an Experienced Linux Systems Engineer to join their technical team. You will be joining a range of Open Source and Technical staff within a friendly team. You will be working for an e-commerce software house with a great reputation for customer service and amazing software.
As part of a small team, you will be helping the company develop its data storage strategy, map / reduce reporting infrastructure and systems management.
You'll be working with modern tools such as Hadoop, HBase and "pig".
In order to be successful for this role you must have the following skills:
o Linux (ideally Ubuntu and RHEL / CentOS) in a virtualised environment
o Security and Firewalls
o Database design and administration in a live environment
Any experience of the following would be an advantage (however full training will be provided):
o Puppet
o CouchDB
o PostgreSQL
o NodeJS
o Data analysis with Hadoop / HBase

Python Developers - £20-33k + benefits - Experienced / Graduate / Trainee - West Sussex

The main language used throughout the company is Python.
As a Python Developer you will be working in a team of highly capable programmers, using technologies such as Python and Linux, and modern agile development processes encompassing pair programming, unittests, test-first, and a high degree of automation.
In order to be success for this role you must have the following:
* A keen analytical mind, with a sound ability to judge when to focus on the details, and when to think laterally

Successful and growing Social Networking Company that contributes to the Open Source community is looking for a Technical Lead to join their team.
You will be joining an Exceptional, fully funded startup company with big ideas and a passion for Open Source.
In order to be successful for the Technical Lead role, you must have experience of the following:
o Python
o NoSQL databases like MongoDB (as well as relational databases such as MySQL or Postgres)
o Operations, system administration and monitoring, including config management systems like Puppet
o Distributed version control systems like git or mercurial
o Messaging middleware such as AMQP and RabbitMQ
Ideally you will also have django or flask experience - although this will be trained.
You will be joining a company that has Exceptional ideas that they are fast turning into reality in order to fill the niche in the market. As a Key member of staff you need to be able to think about the future architecture as well as delivering current features, working alongside the technical team and being the driving force to allow them to become a Big name.
As a Technical Lead, your main responsibilities will be:
