vacancy for a System Administrator to join our IT team. This is an 
excellent career development opportunity for an individual with passion 
and enthusiasm looking to build a comprehensive knowledge of an 
E-commerce environment from the website through to fulfilment. The 
successful candidate will be instrumental in the maintenance, 
development and strategy of technologies adopted for a fast growing 
e-commerce company.

*The Role*

As part of this technical role, your primary responsibility will be to 
support our production environment mostly running the Ubuntu Server 
Linux distribution. In addition, you will assist in supporting the 
businesses day to day IT needs, as well as maintaining other 
technologies across all departments in the company. You will be 
supporting the development team and providing technical feedback to 
enhance the performance and operation of their code.

*About You*

/The successful candidate will demonstrate :-/

  *

    Experience working and troubleshooting issues on LAMP stacks.

  *

    Experience with MySQL and preferably familiarity with replication.

  *

    Experience of administering an Apache Web server.

  *

    Working knowledge of Linux Internals.

  *

    Working knowledge of the OSI stack and Networking Principles.


/Applicants with the following qualifications or experience will be at 
an advantage :-/

  *

    Experience or understanding of the PCI DSS.

  *

    Familiarity with the Ubuntu Linux distribution.

  *

    DBA Experience with MySQL or other SQL technologies.

  *

    Overview of the PHP Zend Framework (for supporting the development
    team).
