Get your CV on as many jobs websites as possible and jobs may well find
you. Research Linux/Open Source companies in the area via Google and
look at the careers sections of their websites, approach them if you
think you might suit them. There is almost unlimited mileage in googling
for the kind of products/software you can support or jobs using the
skills that you have. You need a clear idea of what skills you have and
what you want to do to be able to track work down that way.

No idea whether it's actually useful or not, but since you asked, try this:

http://www.linux.org.uk/Consultants.cs

Also, might I suggest you put your full name in your emails? It doesn't
appear in the 'From' header (you should be able to set this at your
webmail provider or in your mail client) and you don't include it as
part of your message body. Potential employers like to know who they are
dealing with before they open your CV.

(My apologies to the OP, I blindly replied directly without CC'ing the
list, so you get to keep both copies for free :) ).

Regards,
