I have a Linux Sys Admin role that is live. It's based in Brighton and is paying upto £25k. 
The only down side I can see is it is working with both Windows AND Linux... So will only be suitable for people with "Liberal" views :)


LINUX Systems Administrator

Are you a passionate systems administrator? Do you enjoy keeping networks running smoothly? Do you like to get the best out of your systems? Then this is the job for you!

Dynamic technology company are seeking an ambitious, technical systems administrator to help manage their servers and systems, in a mixed Linux and Windows-based hosting environment. The role involves both server and desktop support for their key clients. 

As a Systems Administrator you will need to:
. Have both good interpersonal skills and strong development and problem solving abilities
. Maintain an existing network of 60 Windows and Gentoo Linux servers
. Ensure backups are running and check integrity periodically
. Set up new servers and applications
. Perform scheduled maintenance such as renewing and installing SSL certificates
. Trouble shoot problems with the OS, database and web server
. Ensure that the network is running smoothly and monitor bandwidth
. Help support desktop/laptop users in the office
. Have prior commercial experience in IT/systems

The successful Systems administrator will have:
. Experience of installing and running Linux in a server environment
. An understanding of networking, firewalls, connectivity etc.
. Strong communication and inter-personal skills
. Solid knowledge of Windows Server (ideally 2000 and 2003)
. Some familiarity with SQL Server (ideally 2000 and 2005)
. Experience maintaining IIS and Apache
. A full UK driving licence
