If people want to try this out, go to your subscription options page
   https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/options/linuxjobs/
with your list password and select the topics you want to receive (near
the bottom of the page).

If you do nothing, or no topics are selected, you'll continue to receive
all emails.

The three topics initially are:

  New threads
  - Messages that begin new threads. This topic excludes messages that
    have 'Re:' in the subject line.

  Follow-ups and chatter
  - Messages with subject lines containing 'Re:' or 'chat'.

  Contract roles
  - Messages that have 'contract', 'contractor', 'temporary' or 'temp'
    in the subject line. Includes any replies to those messages.
