Hi everyone
My company has had an enquiry for some on-site MySQL consultancy, but
our hands are kind of full at the moment so I thought I'd throw it out here.
It's a provisional enquiry for MySQL performance tuning, replication and
failover. Work is on-site in London. Experience of the reasons why
people want this kind of work suggests that they either have a chronic
time-shortage before a deadline or they have performance problems that
they can't solve, so perhaps a good knowledge of underlying OS/hardware
issues that affect MySQL performance would probably be useful.
Let me know if you're interested and your day rates and I'll pass you
over to our sales/contracts guy to negotiate.
At the risk of starting another thread that wouldn't die, we do get
enquiries that we can't undertake ourselves from time to time, so I'd be
interested to know whether people would be interested in seeing them
here, given that they're enquiries rather than solid work offers.
Regards,
Adam Sweet
