Continued growth means we are expanding our busy System Administration team. We are now looking to recruit talented and enthusiastic system administrators, to work in a fast paced and challenging environment.
What we need from you:
- Advanced administration of Linux (mainly RHEL).
- Advanced knowledge of Apache.
- Good understanding of Exim & BIND.
- Command line MySQL skills.
- Experience of shell scripting and Perl.
- Good Unix skills like Awk, VIM, Sed, SSH, IP tables.
- Understanding of PHP and HTML.
- Good understanding of server hardware and RAID configuration.
- Some on-call work.
- Team player.
- Can do attitude.
What you will be doing:
- Contributing to our company by being a key part of our team.
- Streamlining our systems and automating server management.
- Managing security and backup processes.
- Optimising the existing infrastructure.
- Deploying and configuring new servers and services.
- Trouble shooting urgent server issues.
- Providing 3rd line support for our operations department

We currently have a position for a Linux Security Engineer to join our systems administration team.
What you will be doing:
• Ensuring our platform is secure and well defended against intrusion.
• Responding to security incidents.
• Implementing and maintaining security monitoring systems.
• Managing web and network vulnerability/penetration testing.
• Developing a security aware mindset amongst the rest of our team.
• Ensure we continue to comply with PCI standards.
• Provide consultative security support for customers.
• Providing on-call incident response.
• Managing Identity and access management.
What we need from you:
• Strong Linux system administration skills.
• Exceptional understanding of security threats and risks.
• An understanding of network security, practical network experience will help.
• A minimum of 2 to 4 years security engineer experience.
• A strong personal interest in Linux and computer security.
• A calm manner under pressure.
• You must be highly motivated, be able to work well independently and willing to think outside of the box.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good grades at college. A degree is preferred.
Skills that would be a great bonus on your application:
• Experience of programming in PHP, Perl or ASP.
• Database management in particular MySQL.
• Windows server administration.
