Hey Guys,

Hope you don't mind me cross posting this across a couple of the related mailing lists.

I had a chat with Alex Willmer at the Birmingham LUG last night and he suggested posting here; we're looking to hire a linux sys admin / ruby scripter ideally with knowledge of continuous integration and continuos delivery.

We are a young startup, founded in April this year and currently running at about 13 employees. We help people cook at home by connecting recipes to supermarkets and other retailers. We do this through the application of semantic technologies and big data techniques.

Our technology stack is a who's who of the best available technologies, including MongoDB, Redis, RabbitMQ, Scala, Ruby, native mobile apps, browser extensions, etc. We're looking to bring in someone that can "own" the deployment, administration and scalability testing of this stack, liaising with the developers as needed for fixes.

We're flexible on the rate and contractor v employee - we offer a great working environment with daily lunch provided, pool and football tables and regular social events. We're looking for someone that wants to work hard and play hard.

NB. We already work with a great recruitment consultant and aren't accepting applications from any other agencies.

Regards

Craig
