Hi Everyone,

Rapidly expanding, VC-backed tech start-up in Central London have an opportunity for a Linux Systems Administrator to join and help scale their Cloud platform. The team behind this start-up were also behind one of the most exciting UK tech start-ups of recent years, which was acquired in 2010 for close to $200million.

They're still small and have lots of growth planned over the next 18 months due to demand for their service, so a great time to get on board. Their platform, which is aimed at mobile devices, has massive potential and you will join a team of real tech enthusiasts, have lots of autonomy and the opportunity to implement your own ideas. Further career opportunities will open up over time for those who want them.

Key Requirements:

* Good scripting skills and experience, ideally Ruby (although not essential) and certainly strong Bash scripting.
* Good Linux stack experience (their platform is Ubuntu but all distro's considered) as well as Apache/Squid/Puppet.
* Experience with monitoring tools like Nagios & ZenOSS.
* Experience with Cloud systems & architectures - e.g. AWS, Rackspace OpenCloud.

Salary is dependent on experience (in the ballpark of £35-50k).
