Hi Folks,

2 new opportunities I'm recruiting for on behalf of a Cloud/SaaS provider in Reading; genuinely world class team(s) and highly respected tech company.

Systems Engineer (Linux) - Cloud Engineering Team - c.£40-45k + On-call allowance + Benefits

Opportunity for Systems Engineer(s) to join a fast paced Cloud Engineering team - responsible for maintaining and developing a leading Cloud platform relied upon by millions & millions of users.

You would be responsible for monitoring, developing & managing a globally distributed, real time production system. Lots of opportunity to create stuff as well as learn and develop from the team there.

You will need to have:


·         Good knowledge of Linux based systems (Cent OS / Red Hat).

·         Experience within a high availability / managed services environment.

·         Scripting / programming skills.

·         Good understanding of TCP/IP networking.

·         Ability to learn new technologies and techniques.
DevOps Engineer - Cloud Engineering Team - c.£65k

DevOps is a key role within the Cloud Engineering team and you will be the 'link' between their Operations and Development teams, ensuring processes run as smoothly as possible. Lots of autonomy and opportunity to have a big impact.

You will need to have:


·         Excellent communicator and a 'people person' with great organisational skills.

·         Fantastic problem solver with an analytical mind.

·         Experience working in a continuous integration / continuous deployment environment.

·         Strong knowledge of at least 1 programming language: Python, Java, C++, Perl or Shell scripting.

·         Great Linux/UNIX systems knowledge.

·         In depth knowledge of hosting services / architectures and scalable infrastructures.
