We have a vacancy within the Science Computing team for a senior 
networks and systems administrator. Whilst the person spec is for 
someone with strong MS skills and good knowledge of 10Gb ethernet and 
Infiniband, the successful candidate will work closely with and 
integrate into a Linux environment.

The Science Computing at DLS is driven by advances in detector 
technology and the need to process data in near real time. We strive to 
stay ahead of demand by implementing better and faster cluster 
computing, high performance networking and high performance storage 
systems. To this end we are expanding the expertise of the team to 
include support for MS science and detector systems as well as 10Gb 
ethernet and Infiniband.
