Senior Systems Engineer is sought by a leading e-commerce company based in London.  The last year has instrumental for my client; they have expanded their operation into the US and Europe and as a result have heavily invested into their technology stack.  This role is going to be supporting a mission critical web environment; specific duties will include systems monitoring and system automation.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be a Senior Systems Engineer at the moment in a high transactional environment (i.e. web, e-commerce and so on).  You will have strong experience with Linux (ideally Ubuntu, but other distributions will also be considered) and will feel confident with Python or another similar scripting language.  Any experience with a configuration management tool such as Puppet, Chef or cfengine would be beneficial and any experience with NoSQL would certainly make you stand out from the crowd.

This is a permanent hire paying up to £50,000.
