Backed by experienced technology entrepreneurs, the service is expanding and they now need a Cloud Systems Engineer to join and be responsible for managing the Cloud platform as it continues to scale - code deployments, automating tasks, sys admin etc.

Key skills: Linux, TCP/IP networking, monitoring / code deployment / alerts / general sys admin, understanding of DevOps processes.

Cloud Systems Engineer - Unique opportunity with a Video Conferencing Start-up
Location: Northampton (with home working)
Salary: c.£30k + stock options
This is a unique opportunity for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join a very early stage Video Conferencing start-up and play a key role in the execution of their platform strategy.
Having grown organically the business has signed several customers and now needs a Cloud Systems Engineer to gradually take ownership of the technology platform. The role will be a mixture of application management, host administration and code deployment for their growing VC platform.
Being a small Video Conferencing start-up they offer flexibility on where you can be based, however they are keen for you to be based near Northampton so you can meet with the Directors.
Due to the stage of the business the main part of remuneration will be the allocation of stock options over time - a salary will be on offer, but they're keen to find someone willing to take a risk on a platform that looks set for big things, who will be rewarded well over time. A fantastic opportunity for someone at the right stage in their career.
Cloud Systems Engineer requirements:
Essential skills and experience:

  *   Good experience with Linux based systems and hosting platforms.
  *   Good experience with TCP/IP networking with the ability to diagnose networking issues for customers.
  *   Experience across monitoring, code deployment and alerting.
  *   Understanding of Devops processes.
Any experience with video conferencing technologies is desirable but by no means essential.
