You can get there and back at lunchtime by taxi or car
from the centre. Or go by bus if you have a little longer.

As well as consumer electronics, Maplin sell components,
tools, etc.
They're neither the cheapest, nor the best, but they're
usually good enough. They sell temperature-controlled
soldering stations, as well as regular soldering irons.
