You may want to change the command slightly to:
sudo mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /floppy
Assuming a mount point of /floppy exists and does not have a filesystem
mounted to it.
Easily found out with
>$ mount
If you're still get errors try sending the first 10 or so lines
initially in a reply email so we can see what you are seeing.
