I have a WRT54G running Sveasoft firmware (I installed it prior to the
licensing 'issues' and haven't got round to changing it). It is excellent, I
would recommend this router to anyone.
As for the models after changing to a proprietory OS on the WRT54G, Linksys
released a models specifically geared to Linux users, it's called WRT54GL
IIRC.
