Hi all, now that I've converted to Linux at home I'm looking to change the way I do things.

In the past I've used my laptop as my main machine and a desktop machine as my server. I have a quad core 2.4Ghz, with 4GB of RAM which seems overkill now I'm running Linux. Must be costing me a fortune in energy bills.

I just need something to act as:

Webserver (for development)
Basic email
File storage and network backup

I found http://excito.com which looks ideal to replace the desktop. Has anybody come across these?

I'm thinking if I  buy two and locate one at my parents house it's perfect for remote backups.

Could be make more sense than buying two more internal drives and a raid controller for me desktop.
