ManLUG Meetings for March and April
March 20 2010, 14:00 in the Manchester Digital Laboratory (MadLab)
This month we have two short Arduino-related presentations:
Getting Started with Arduino - An introduction to the Arduino
microcontroller board. I will run through connecting the Arduino, and
creating and uploading a (very) simple program using the Arduino IDE.
ArduinLOW - A look at AVR microcontrollers. Bob Clough from HACman
takes a look at the hardware underlying the Arduino development board,
and covers how to code, compile, and upload programs to the AVR
microcontroller family using native Linux software.
April 17 2010, 14:00 at MadLab
Installfest - Bring your machines and your experience and knowledge.
There will be some CDs and DVDs for various GNU/Linux distributions
available (and we may be able to burn more). We’re just a little early
for the next Ubuntu release, but there should be some pre-releases
available for the brave.
