[Liverpool] Posterous Setup

Hi folks,

In line with our meeting the other night I set up a Posterous account for
announcements which you can find at - http://livlug.posterous.com

At the moment it's linked to Twitter and also our new freedom hating page on
Facebook. Behold it's evil glory!! -

We also have http://twitter.com/livlug and http://identi.ca/livlug

I know there are many of you who don't like Facebook or Twitter but as I
said the other night "sometimes you have to go where the people are". I am
working on adding Identi.ca too and even though the login details Doof
passed over are correct, it won't authorise right now. I have logged into
the Identi.ca website with them so I know this is not the problem. Perhaps
the service is busy. I'll get it fixed ASAP.

If you do use Facebook please "like" the page (in Facebook parlance) and if
25 people do this we can change the address to *facebook.com/livlug* which
will look better. Invite your FB / Linux using friends in the area to do the
same. Thanks.

I can also link to many other services via Posterous so if you have
suggestions for other places we should be pushing announcements to just let
me know. Google+ does not appear to do this yet but it's only a week old. We
can email the announcements to Posterous and it'll take care of reposting. I
will check this now. Any thoughts or suggestions for improvement please send
them over.
