Its quickly becoming apparent Goolge has the plan that Android is
destined for mobiles and tablets only, with the the netbook side being
assaulted with ChromeOS. The problem here is that Android had been
designed from day one as a touch interface and adapting it to a
pointer based system is causing some serious UI cludge. Application
that assume that they're being interfaces by touch are hard to work
with a pointer, thats not even considering multitouch and the other
fancy options that have popped up over the last few years.
Also as far as I understand the x86 port is more a testing tool than
production ready platform. Still, interesting to hear some feedback on
it.
