[Liverpool] Old google phones

Not really an answer to your question, but I've just seen today in TJ 
Hughes the T-Mobile Pulse Mini for £49.99. Yes, it only has a 2.8" 
resistive screen - and it is in general a cheap phone - but it is an 
Android phone (I believe 2.1?). I'm tempted to get one, root it and 
experiment with OpenVPN on it. Would make an interesting cordless phone 
at home connected over wifi to my Asterisk box.
