[Liverpool] Media Server/Ampache

Thanks guys.

I've heard of Grooveshark. Unfortunately I have an iPhone
(embarassingly...) and I don't think they're compatible. There are ways
I could do this through uploading to cloud storage and streaming via ftp
or something, but I can't be bothered waiting for uploads, etc. I also
like the idea of getting round this more independently too- simple
concept, just wish the actualization was simpler.

I thought there would be people who have a functioning media server
available anywhere with access to internet already...

I've got the UI of mediatomb working....but now stuck with that, unable
to figure out how to connect to it via another machine over lan!

A talk would be great on this! I've also been thinking once my academic
duties have settled down a bit I would love to present an
autoethnography of my experience of becoming a Linux user, leaving the
proper space of Windows, learning, the tactics of Linux and the
strategies of Windows and apple. But that's another email I guess...

Regards
