[Liverpool] Samba 4 is at release candidate stage

Hi all,

This might not be equally important or relevant to all of us - but Samba 
4 has reached release candidate phase!

For those with less of an interest in the subject, Samba 4 is a major 
reworking of the Samba 3 code - with full support for Windows Active 
Directory domains. Samba 3 only supported old style NT domains - with 
much reduced functionality.

All this is very important for Linux in general - as Samba is one of the 
cornerstones of functionality in enterprise setups - and being able to 
offer full Active Directory functionality using a Linux server adds much 
weight in favour of Linux use on servers in enterprise. I've been 
personally waiting for this for a good while.

I just thought I'd spread the word.
