Both sound interesting topics to me.

Wouldn't a Gentoo install session involve us all sitting around mostly
watching GCC output on a screen? Not sure how well that would work but
I'm up for it if everyone else is.

I installed Arch once years ago. It was a good learning experience but
I've probably forgotten everything I learned by now. It took me 6 hours
to get it booting up to a GUI login screen. Following the huge manual
I'd printed out all the way. Yes I printed it out, there's one rain
forest gone for sure.

I reckon I could smash that record and do it in 5hrs next time though :D
