That wasn't the notification mail, that was my response to the mail, sent
days after the notification and only about an hour before the meeting.

Are you subscribed to the digest version of the list? That introduces a
delay of up to 24 hours for emails, and doesn't really offer much benefit
on a low traffic list like this one.
