Hi all,
The Manlug meeting for September 2020 is online again, this month we
have a talk, details as below:
Date : 19/09/2020
Time(s) : 14:00 - 16:00
Meeting url : https://jitsimeet.jitsimeeting.co.uk/ManLUG
If you plan on attending please advise by return and I will provide the
username/password nearer the time.
Talk title : ACLs, Caps, and attr's - it's not just RWX any more
Summary : Linux has a bunch of other data hung off the side of files
these
days that let you change permissions and store
arbitrary data
with the files. We'll look at what they can do
and what they're
used for.
*Thank you to* : Richard Ibbotson for providing the Jitsi server and
to Dave Gilbert for putting together the talk.
Please forward this onto any friends or work colleagues who may find
this of interest.
Hope to see you all there.
Cheers
Dan
