[Malvern] Is there life in Malvern?

it is a bit slow in here, so i've come out the wood work :).
I'm thinking of taking the plunge and moving over to using Gentoo on my 
main, traditionally windows, box. (i'm gonna duel boot as i can do without 
some of my games :P )
I've had it installed on an old duel p3 box i got from work, but i have no 
real use for it so i'm gonna take the plunge and just have it on my main 
box.
>From installing it on the old p3 system, i'm confidant that i wont mess up 
the boot straping and compliation of it. It's when i start to do stuff such 
as get the dvd burner to work that things will start to become interesting 
:)
