Hi Ian.

I guess you need it for command line terminal use.

For both E-Mail and  WWW  the Mozilla  applications both allow you to use
CTRL +  to zoom.  You can  get a large magnification that way.

Perhaps your real need is for inverted video,   to give a negative image
with white on black.

By the way, there is a Linux user in Bromyard who has the same difficulty.

It might be worth contacting him to find out how he does it.
