I got them from debian.com, as I prefer to use testing, I got them from
here:

I'm in the process of upgrading all our old Fedora boxes across to
Debian. For some reason, a couple of bind servers are running gnome.
Minimal install on everything, custom kernels to run the bare minimum.
I've got several copies of the i386 testing CD. If you want, i'll bring
one to the next Lug Meet (you'll need to remind me), or I can drop one
off / in the post.

There is something which is the mac equivelent to ACPId - I think pmud,
but probably wrong. One thing to try is to install this package with
apt-get and see if that helps.
